In 1975 Kiona Vineyards planted the first vineyard on Red Mountain, an area now known for producing powerful, opulent wines of distinction. Kiona Vineyards and Winery now farms over 230 estate-planted acres in the AVA. As both a winery and a vineyard, we benefit from an intimate understanding of our product from start to finish.
Kiona Chenin Blanc is crisp, easy to drink off-dry Chenin Blanc showcases Washington’s white wine prowess. This delightful varietal is often overlooked in the United States. Chenin Blanc is used to make some of the world’s greatest food wines in France’s Loire Valley and does exceptionally well in our climate. We make it into a crisp, clean wine that is immensely easy to enjoy. Mouth watering acidity makes this a perfect hors d’oeuvres wine and a superb companion to seafood.
