WildAire Cellars
WildAire Cellars’ goal is to craft exceptional wines with grapes that were grown using sustainable farming methods that accurately reflect the essence of the vineyard and the vintage. WildAire Cellars was started in 2005 and is the shared dream of the husband and wife team of Matthew and Jean Driscoll of McMinnville, Oregon. WildAire Cellars is a small, virtual winery located in Illahe Vineyard’s winery facility in Dallas, Oregon.
WildAire Reserve Pinot Noir 2012
This is a barrel selection, with the majority of the barrels from Shea, Zenith and Illahe vineyard fruit. Toasty, smooth, supple and pleasing, it begins with tart red fruits framed by citrusy acidity. It breathes open and stays fresh for more than a day, with light red fruits, milk chocolate, and firm, balanced tannins.
