Produced at the Brauerei Locher, close to the border with Liechtenstein, the Säntis Malt team has combined whiskey matured in its signature beer casks (the site’s brewing history dates back to the 1800s) with liquid aged in a variety of wine barrels for this release, Edition Himmelberg. The result? A deliciously fruity Swiss whiskey underpinned with those tasty cereal notes endemic in beer-influenced drams.
