Farming 16 vineyards in the Russian River Valley AVA, the proximity to the Pacific ocean provides a cool climate and the perfect amount of fog to allow the two chosen grape varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to thrive. Of all the grapes harvested over the 700-acre vineyards, only 10% are considered high enough quality to be bottled under the Balletto label.

Going back three years we take a closer look at the Chardonnay 2015 which has been described as balanced, bright and complex. Grown on four different estate vineyards, the final product brings forth a concentration of both flavor and texture. With warm baking spices reminiscent of a freshly baked pie, bright citrus tones that cut straight to the taste buds and a subtle toast of New oak, this wine has slight tannins to accentuate and compliment, begging another sip.
