Description
Attilio Ghisolfi
Not far from Megara Hyblaea, one of the first Greek colonies in Sicily, the Targia fiefdom stretched over 140 hectares, nestled between the Ionian Sea, the ruins of the Eurialo Castle built between 402 and 397 BC, and the Dionigian walls. With a long family tradition, the Azienda Agricola Pupillo has recovered the lost taste of Moscato di Siracusa and renewed the more consolidated one of Nero d’Avola. The vineyards grow luxuriantly in the six plots of Senie, Mulino, Podere 27, Tre Ettari, Favaraggio and Vignazza Delle Monache, heterogeneous soils in which the limestone component, which gives delicacy to the Moscato grapes, alternates and the volcanic one which, instead, strengthens the body of reds and Nero d’Avola.

Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso
Tasting Notes 1
Underbrush, black raspberry, dark cherry, sage, spice, espresso, chocolate, and balsamic notes are some of the sensations that emerge from this structured Barolo. It’s still young, with solid but ripe tannins, and needs time to develop fully.
Tasting Notes 2
The taste envelops the palate with strength, harmony, and fullness and keeps it for a long time. Moderately tannic and suitable for consumption from a young age.
