Bello Family Vineyards is operated by Michael Bello (founder), Ross Wallace (winemaker) and Christopher Bello (general manager). Each of them has been working in the wine making industry for about 15 – 20 years. The vineyards are located in Rutherford, CA. The winery’s philosophy is all about spending the equal amount of time in the vineyard and in the cellar. The winery is also committed to using the minimal intervention during the wine bottling process.

Bello Family Vineyards Tasting Notes
The 2014 growing season is known for its warm and dry weather. For this reason, berries have small sizes and more concentrated flavours. This has helped Bello Family Vineyards produce the wine of phenomenal quality. Bello Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 is the blend that consists of several wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon (92%), Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petite Verdot (2%). The wine is fermented for 14 days and aged in new French oak barrels for 22 months. The wine has dense ruby/purple color, rich flavor, good acidity and long sweet tannin. When tasting the wine you’ll feel the flavours of blackcurrants, blueberry, cherry, licorice, sweet chocolate, sweet oak and fresh raspberry. Score – 93.
