Eastside Distilling has been producing high-quality, master-crafted Small-Batch Bourbon, American Whiskey, Flavored Whiskeys, A Potato – Gluten-Free Vodka, American Rum, Spiced Rums, and Holiday Drinks in Southeast Portland’s Distillery Row since 2008. We believe that locally-produced spirits simply taste better, so all of our unique products are made right here in Portland, Oregon from natural ingredients in small batches for unparalleled quality and taste. Eastside Distilling introduced Below Deck Rums, the first in a series fine and flavored rums in 2009, and has since launched several more award-winning spirits, including Burnside Bourbon and Portland Potato Vodka, and our new Cherry Bomb Whiskey. Eastside also produces small batch and seasonal products like our Holiday Spiced Liqueur and new Peppermint Bark and Egg Nog Liqueurs.

Located on Distillery Row in downtown Portland, Oregon; Eastside Distillery is a true-to-form micro/craft space dedicated to bringing Oregon’s rich agricultural history to the forefront. Using only locally sourced product, Eastside is following it’s mantra ” Local Just Tastes Better”. The Oregon Oaked Bourbon takes their traditional Burnside Bourbon and continues aging for an additional 60 days in heavily-charred, new 59-gallon Oregon oak barrels.
Drinkhacker Tasting Note
This brand new whiskey hails from Eastside Distilling in Portland, Oregon, and the two barrels in question are a traditional new oak barrel, followed by a second turn for 60 days in a new heavy-char barrel made from Oregon oak. Essentially, its Eastside’s 4 year old Burnside Bourbon (mashbill: 75% corn, 10% rye, 15% malted barley) with a burlier finish applied.
Burnside Oregon Oaked Bourbon won a Silver Medal at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition in the small-batch bourbon aged-under 10 years category.
