klwines Tasting Note
Rich while also structured, this is beginning to be delicious. Acidity comes from the black currant fruits while the structure shows dense tannins and wood-aging flavors. The wine is still young and prepared for a long haul, so don’t drink before 2018. 92 points (12/2014)

Winemaker’s Tasting Note
Garnet in color. An intense nose marked by ripe fruit and good wood. Very dense, with a wide and harmonious structure with notes of cherry and plum which are combined with well-integrated oak. Still young tannins accompany a long fruity finish. Blended from a selection of the best lots, it’s a generous wine, round and harmonious. Traditional barrel aging enhances the silky structure and elegant aromas.
Jancis Robinson Tasting Note
Jancis Robinson– Certified organic. 78% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvested at 49.8 hl/ha. Pretty closed on the nose, bit of liquorice. Real dry citric tamarind notes, very tangy, high acidity and mossy notes. Not long, not particularly complex, but a good food wine, with poise. Well-planed but very dry tannins. Black tea and sandalwood. Bit of blackcurrant and cassis on the palate, although far from being a fruit bomb, with lots of liquorice on the finish. (TC) (14-Nov-2014)
