Azienda Agricola Di Marzo is located in Tufo, Italy. The history of the winery dates back to the 17-th century. The winery was founded by di Marzo family in 1647. Initially, Di Marzo family specialized in mining natural brimstone that’s widely used in architecture. The family employed up to 500 workers and provided local farmers with brimstone. However, the mines ran out in the early 1980’s and the family switched to wine making. The winery’s owner, Alberto di Marzo, was a member of parliament (from 1880 to 1911). He played a very important role in the development of Tufo region. Alberto di Marzo also had a passion for car racing and he organized local car racing competitions “Principe di Piemonte”. Today, the winery continues to produce wines that have become a favorite choice of so many local and international wine lovers.
