Leogate Estate Wines

The history of Leogate Estate Wines began in 2009. Initially, Leogate Estate leased Tempus Two Winery that was run by the Roche Family. The company also purchased all of the winery’s equipment. Above all, Leogate Estate rebuilt the winery’s building. The new winery processed its first harvest in 2013. The next year, the winery processed approximately 340 tons of grapes. It’s important to know that the grapes for the winery’s vineyard were planted in 1970s. Brokenback Vineyard’s grapes occupy 50 hectares these days. The vineyard has different types of grapes including Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz, Tempranillo and Verdelho.
