Description
Mauricio Lorca’s wines display an elegance and lightness of touch that we believe to be virtually unrivalled in South America. His winemaking talents have been much in demand for a number of years and he is consultant winemaker at several other wineries but, more recently, he has founded his own winery and it is here that he expresses his own vision. Elsewhere he is able to help wineries create a vinous statement that is entirely their own because of his ability to understand their particularities of grape and soil; here he is at liberty to explore the corridors of his own instincts and experiment at will, with very impressive results.

Secret Cellar Tasting Note
Unfiltered and Unoaked, this is a claret lover’s dream without the price tag. Showing signs of classic Cabernet development, all leathery edges and subtle mushroomy notes but still with lovely direct cassis fruits and gentle menthol. A very interesting wine and another reason why Argentina is so exciting.
