Description
Beautiful wine comes from a beautiful place. Mt. Beautiful wines are the expression of the wild, rugged and breathtakingly scenic region of North Canterbury. Certified-sustainable and estate-grown, these distinctively restrained wines let the pure terroir shine through. Only seven miles from the ocean, the vineyards are protected from harsh sea winds by their benevolent namesake, Mt. Beautiful.
World-renowned scholar/entrepreneur and New Zealand native David Teece, together with his wife Leigh, spent two years searching for just this spot, where they could pioneer an undiscovered region and fulfill their dream of bringing the best of New Zealand to the world. We hope you enjoy the fruits of their mission.
Mt Beautiful Sauvignon Blanc 2014
Mt Beautiful Tasting Note
Our Sauvignon Blanc pushes the boundaries of the typical New Zealand flavor profile. By highlighting decadent tropical flavors, toning down the grassiness and bringing a creamy mid-palate all the way through to a crisp finish with bright minerality, we have set a new precedence for New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Shoppers Vineyard Tasting Note
Though dry, this Sauvignon Blanc is full and fruity. On the nose, it presents a bouquet of tropical fruit. These aromas are backed up on the palate by flavours of pineapple and green mango, finishing with a bracing flash of lime crispness. This wine is best enjoyed young.–Winemakers Note
