Riesling Gebling 2013
Moser Hermann Tasting Note
The Gebling is a striking elevation in the north tube village, which extends up to Krems extends. He is one of the most powerful loess deposits in Europe. His name – probably originally “yellow-ling” – refers to the . Glowing walls behind the vineyards Reference The wine terraces on Gebling that directly behind begin our cellar, are ideal for spicy Veltliner and expressive Rieslings.
kL Wines Tasting Note
“Gebling is technically an Erste Lage Vineyard, but Buchegger cannot claim it on the label because he does not charge enough for the wine, making it a great value. Gebling is widely regarded as one of the best vineyards in the Kremstal region. It is planted on a steep, terraced hillside at 850 feet above sea level facing directly south. The soil there is conglomerate and the vines are 43 years old, producing low yields of very high quality fruit.”
Suburban Wines Tasting Note
Light golden yellow. Nose: Intense stone fruits, fine honey, fresh mandarin peel, delicate herbs and spices such as sage, juniper and nutmeg. Palate: Well defined, solid, crisp fruit bite, lighter styled Riesling showing purity with a lively core. Tight minerality.
