Established in the early 1980′s, Rosabrook was one of the first pioneers of the Margaret River wine region. The Rosabrook area was originally home to a small number of group settlement farmers who founded the dairy industry in the 1930’s. Many of the isolated clearings they struggled to tame are now home to some of Margaret River’s prime vineyards.
Rosabrook’s winemaking philosophy under the direction of the much acclaimed winemaker, Brian Fletcher is to allow the natural characteristics of the fruit to drive the wine, with minimal interference. Rosabrook is owned by the Calneggia family, one of Margaret River’s premium wine producers. In 2007 Rosabrook relocated its vineyard to an exceptional location in the North Western end of the Margaret River wine region, overlooking Geographe Bay and the beautiful Indian Ocean. The warm days and cool nights, influenced by the ocean surrounding the region, results in slow, mild ripening conditions that deliver wines of great intensity, finesse and flavour.
