Swiss single malt whiskey here from Brauerei Locher’s Säntis Malt range! This is an enjoyably peaty expression that is allowed to mature in old oak beer casks, helping to balance the rich smokiness. The Locher family began producing whiskey in 1999 after a ban on distilling spirits from grain was lifted, though the family had owned the brewery since the 1800s.
