Description
Nestled in famous Napa Valley, our family has been growing winegrapes on our historic St. Helena vineyard since 1932. Originally planted in 1860 by Dr. George Crane, three generations of the Salvestrin Family have meticulously and sustainably farmed this 26 acre vineyard for 80 harvests. Being sensitive to the environment and the surrounding community by following organic guidelines, we consistently create handcrafted wines that are fruit forward, elegant, balanced and memorably world class. The Salvestrin property is home to acres of grapevines, the family garden, and the historic Salvestrin home which was built in the 1850’s. These acres are also home to three generations of Salvestrins and our pets- Rusty, Jack, Big Red and the duck.
The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon wine opens with an abundance of bright fruit. Aromas of ripe juicy blackberries, plum and toasted barrels delight the nose. Entry on the palate is silky and smooth with great balance which frames round integrated tannins. The structure builds on the palate with mouth coating richness and warmth leading to a lush ripe long lasting finish.
