Description
VIÑA 1924 is an Old, Original and Traditional Malbec Vineyard of VISTALBA, it is located inside VISTALBA VALLEY and its First Existence Record dates back to 1924. It is an ancient vineyard with more than 80 years of age, a Traditional Malbec Vineyard corresponding to the FIRST STEPS OF VITICULTURE in VISTALBA and MENDOZA.
FARMING, we keep using vine labor practices used decades ago in order to maintain the vineyard close to organic farming as it was since its beginning. Several ancient farming practices we use might be considered enclosed by biodynamic farming (*). We have decades following practices such us mixing every autumn the own pruning, leaves and vine shoots together with the soil, this practice maintains and improves soil texture and composition over the time by means of a natural way.
