The Story Wines is one of the best wineries located in the southern part of Melbourne, Australia. The winery has a rich and interesting history that dates back to 2003. Each of its wines has its own story. It’s worth noting that The Story Wines uses the grapes from Grampians and Henty vineyards for making its great wines. The wines which are produced by The Story Wines have moderate alcohol levels and bright aromas. What is great about these wines is that they are not fined and filtrated during the bottling process. This is why the wines don’t have any additions.

The Story Wines Grampians Shiraz 2014 is the blend that consists of grapes which are grown in different vineyards. It’s important to know that about 72% of grapes are harvested from Hyde Park Vineyard; about 25% of grapes are harvested from Rice’s Vineyard and about 3% of grapes which are harvested from Westgate Vineyard. This wonderful unfined and unfiltered wine is all about deep colors, nice pepper highlights, great structure, excellent tannin and flavor development.

The Story Wines Grampians Shiraz 2014 is the fine wine of black dark red color with bright finish, good richness, elegant palate, lively acidity and well integrated tannins. The wine has wonderful aromas of dark plums, liquorice, spearmint and vanillin cedar. There is no question that the wine will impresses you with its light spicy pepper end notes. When drinking the wine you’ll feel the pleasant tastes of blackberries, dark cherries and pepper. The Story Wines Grampians Shiraz 2014 matures in old French barriques for 12 months. Score – 93.
